Daniel Gilbert is a professional violinist and talented artist currently based in the Twin Cities. Renown as “Daniel the Violinist”, he prides himself on his extensive experience as an artist, composer, and professional musician. What sets him apart is his relentless dedication to creating pieces that move the entire body. Daniel creates beautiful memories and cinematic experiences for the listener that engages their senses beyond the ordinary. His music is soulful, engaging, and weaves the fabric of a story that takes you on a journey leaving you wanting to hear more!

Daniel received his training at the Undergraduate School in Violin and Viola Performance from Millikin University. He then pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for Graduate School in Viola performance. As a mentor to fellow musicians, Daniel enjoys cultivating environments where fellow musicians can flourish in their artistry. For the last five years, he has been a dedicated member of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra here in Bloomington, MN where he has grown in his love for collective harmony. Daniel has served as the opening artist for various organizations such as the Twin Cities Film Festival and Team Women Empowerment, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve their full economic potential. Daniel is truly well-rounded in the diversity of musical expression across cultures and identities.
