Robert Steib ,better known as DJ SOTA, is an American DJ, producer, and event promoter/host. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sota first gained prominence as an American mid-west regional Def Jam DJ affiliated with Roc-A-Fella Records from 1999 – 2006 based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Performing and holding DJ residencies’, Sota opened and performed with major recording artists such as Prince, Black Eyed Peas, Wu-Tang Clan, Puff Daddy & The Family, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Beyonce’, Mariah Carey, Eminem, 50 Cent, and The Roots. Robert also rocked SUPER BOWL LII and the NBA All-Star weekend. DJ Sota is available for bookings at your weddings, private parties, corporate events and more.
