2016 GenNOW Highlights: A Year In Review!

WOW! All we can say is that 2016 was a banner year for GenerationNOW Entertainment.  This year we were fortunate enough to be involved in some pretty sweet/high profile events in addition to our normal awesome schedule of nightclub and wedding gigs.  And, we made memories that are sure to last a lifetime!   

Here is a snippet of our "Best Of" events in 2016, in order.  We can't wait for what 2017 will have in store!

February - NBA All Star Saturday Night (DJ Mad Mardigan/DJ Thrillz)

Take a look back at one of the best dunk contests in the history of All-Star Weekend between Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon! About the NBA: The NBA is the premier professional basketball league in the United States and Canada.

April - Minnesota Vikings Draft Party (DJ Matty Matt/Nimo The Hooligan)

July - Lakefront Music Festival (Nimo The Hooligan/Don Greene/Emcee Jason Hudoba)

Our GenNOW Team was invited for the 2nd straight year to be a part of the festivities for Lakefront MusicFest @ Lakefront Park. August - MN State Fair/Prince Tribute Dance Party (DJ Dudley D/Ben Quam/DJ Mad Mardigan/Fanaka/DJ Eklipse)

GenerationNOW Entertainment, Eklipse Productions and Total Entertainment came together to put on dance party for the one and only Prince on August 26, 2016. The entire day was titled "Unite in Purple". Thousands of fairgoers danced and sang the night away for 3.5 hours of Prince classics and deep cuts at Carousel Park.

October - PGA of America Ryder Cup (Mister Black/DJ Matty Matt/DJ Mad Mardigan/DJ Dudley D)

The PGA came to GenerationNOW requesting we throw a party at the 1st tee and inside the International Pavilion. We obliged and HISTORY was made. Since the inception of the Ryder Cup music on the course was not an option...until NOW.

October - Fraser Annual Gala (DJ Crozzworkz/DJ Mad Mardigan/Fanaka)

GenerationNOW was humbled to be a part of the event for the 4th straight year. DJ Mad Mardigan and DJ Crozzworkz put on a show for the guests while Fanaka wowed the crowd with his breakdancing and emcee work. The event raised over $600,000.

November/December - MN Vikings Games (DJ Velvet/DJ Mad Mardigan/DJ Dudley D)

We had the opportunity to perform in two areas of the stadium for the December 18th game versus the Indianapolis Colts. DJ Mad Mardigan was on the field performing for the players during warmups while DJ Dudley D was in Mystic Lake Club Purple. It's a surreal feeling playing in front of 60,000 fans.
