Venue Spotlight: Orchestra Hall
view Orchestra hall through the eyes of Nick - event & Facility sales manager
He’s been with the venue and in this role for 8 years. What he loves most about his role is the variety of events and clients that he gets to work with.
The venue has “a warm and welcoming atmosphere generated from the modern and simple architecture and the friendly staff that greet you when you arrive. The natural light fills the space during the day, and at night the building glows from within, reflecting the energy of the downtown skyline.” Not to mention the “variety of spaces” ranging from small to large.
What is Nick’s favorite feature of the venue? Well, Orchestra Hall connects to the Minneapolis Skyway System while also sharing the block with Peavy Plaza. This provides a backdrop of trees and water features.
Orchestra Hall is one of Minnesota’s cultural and architectural touchstones. It opened in 1974 as the home of the Minnesota Orchestra. Located on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
Know for it’s modernist design and renowned acoustics, Orchestra Hall features enhance the warmth and richness of sound in the space, while providing a superb aural experience.

Orchestra hall’s hype song?
Without taking sides or playing favorites; it would have to be “Ode to Joy” by Beethoven.
“Since he has never stepped foot in our building - a classic treasure that captures the energy of our building and people coming together to celebrate their event.”
