Tim Miller has been in the entertainment and events field for more than 18 years. Upon graduation from Concordia College (Moorhead) in 2002, he signed on with the Game Operations department of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, a minor league baseball team. Three months later, the team needed a replacement for its Music Director and asked Tim if he had any knowledge of music. He told team management about his passion for music, and about the school dances he DJ’d while in college. By the time he was done, he’d made a name for himself in the Fargo-Moorhead area… But that was just the beginning.


After the baseball season ended, he moved back to the Twin Cities and stayed in the sports entertainment industry – This time with the Minnesota Timberwolves Professional Basketball team. Tim began with the Wolves in 2003 and has been with the Live Programming & Entertainment Department for more than 14 years. He’s currently the team’s Director of Music and responsible for creating and managing musical playlists that customize the entire arena experience. The trio of Nicholas Dircz (DJ Mad Mardigan), Dustin Meyer (DJ Dudley D & Co-Music Director) and Tim have worked closely to give fans the best possible in-arena experience. This is one of the main reasons the Live Programming & Entertainment department is consistently rated at the top in the entire NBA.


Between 2006 and 2010, Tim served as V.P. of Operations for www.TwinCitiesGolf.com, which is a Twin Cities-based golf management company. During that time, Tim hosted more than 160 tournaments and managed 42 tournament directors across the United States.


Tim began Miller Entertainment & Events at the beginning of 2011 and has spent much of the Summer running charity and fund-raising golf tournaments. Starting his own business also has given Tim the opportunity to become a fixture in the GenerationNOW Entertainment family. He’s been V.P. of Marketing & Events since October 2010, and spends most of his time meeting with clients, vendors and venues to educate them about GenerationNOW.


Customer service and satisfaction are Tim’s top priority, and he strives to ensure every team member shares similar ideals. Given his vast knowledge of the entertainment and events field, we couldn’t be happier to have Tim on our team.
